We provide full stamped engineered shop drawings to include directly with your municipal permit package. After the installation is complete, we also supply an official letter of conformity for you to hand straight to the building inspector for easy sign-off.
For full custom homes and large structural additions, we always advise getting a geotechnical soil report. This ground data allows our engineers to accurately calculate the right pile size, depth, and torque targets to handle the home’s weight.
If we hit poor or variable soil conditions, we use structural steel extensions to drive the piles deeper into the ground until they hit stable bedrock. Extensions come at an additional cost, which is why we recommend installing test piles first to calculate depth accurately.
Test piles give us a clear look at the exact underground soil profiles on your lot. This field test shows us exactly how deep we need to go, helping us provide an accurate estimate of any required steel extensions before the main crew arrives.
